About Us
An industry pioneer founded in 1998, A.S.A.P. Advisor Services has a full-time team of experts in data management and RFP completion, and has helped numerous investment management firms save valuable time and money. On behalf of our clients, we populate and maintain quantitative and qualitative data on leading consultant platforms, and in well-known traditional and alternative third-party databases. We work closely with the database managers on behalf of our clients and can also recommend a number of smaller, more specialized data sources.

Our senior professionals have an average of 20 years of experience in marketing support and data management, providing clients with peace of mind and allowing them to devote valuable internal resources to other essential functions within their organizations. In addition to data management expertise, we have developed proprietary technology that enables us to utilize direct data feeds, full file uploads, and automated data entry to facilitate the speed and accuracy of our work. We do not, however, rely solely on technology—as an additional safeguard, our Quality Assurance team reviews every update to ensure it is correct and consistent across all data sources.

We have established strong relationships with investment consultants, database managers and other third-party intermediaries, and have broad product knowledge across all asset classes.

Lauren Cola, President & CEO
Lauren founded A.S.A.P. Advisor Services as a better way to manage investment marketing support functions. The vision was to simply provide an option for firms who wished to add efficiencies to their existing marketing teams without having to hire, train and manage additional data analysts and marketing associates.

Prior to founding A.S.A.P. Advisor Services, Inc. in 1998, Lauren worked for Citibank Asset Management, Bankers Trust Company, Chase Asset Management, HSBC Asset Management and Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield. With over 24 years of progressive line, management and consulting experience, Lauren's background encompasses investment management marketing and technical product management. Lauren is a member of the Association of Investment Management Sales Executives (AIMSE) and the Professional Association for Investment Communications Resources (PAICR). She has a B.S. degree from Boston University and is a graduate of the Wharton/AIMSE Investment Marketing Program. Click here for a video message from Lauren.

Melanie Horvath, Executive Vice President and Director of Global Sales and Marketing
Melanie has over 18 years of investment marketing, product management, and database/RFP management experience. She spent 14 years at Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management where she held several marketing management positions, including manager of the firm’s product management, database, and RFP teams. Melanie’s business project level experience comprises finding efficiencies through automation to streamlining processes. Her firm level project experience spans from automating data collection, to working on global competitive analysis solutions for Allianz Global Investors.

After having been a client of A.S.A.P. for 8 years, Melanie joined the A.S.A.P. Advisor Services, Inc. team in 2009. Melanie is a member of the Association of Investment Management Sales Executives (AIMSE) and the Professional Association for Investment Communications Resources (PAICR). Melanie earned her B.B.A. Degree with an emphasis on Marketing from National University School of Business.

Jill Banaszak is the Director of Client Service at A.S.A.P. Advisor Services, Inc. Since joining the firm in 2005, she has been an Account Manager for both traditional and hedge fund managers. Jill’s family of clients represents more than $900 billion in assets under management. Jill has been instrumental in setting the standards for the Client Service group, working with all Client Service Managers and the Quality Assurance team to provide exceptional service.

Prior to joining A.S.A.P., Jill worked in the marketing and advertising industry, developing marketing campaigns for various businesses. Jill is an active member of the Association of Investment Management Sales Executives (AIMSE) and the Professional Association for Investment Communications Resources (PAICR). She is a graduate of the University of Florida, where she received a B.S. degree in Public Relations (and a minor in Business Administration) with highest honors.

Sharí Cruz is the Business Development Manager at A.S.A.P. Advisor Services, Inc. She has more than 7 years of experience in sales and marketing to the investment management industry. She joined the team in 2005 leading the firm’s sales efforts. During her tenure, Sharí has helped build A.S.A.P. to a base of over 70 investment management clients worldwide. Prior to joining A.S.A.P. Sharí worked as a Sales & Marketing Associate for kasina, a consulting firm specializing in e-business and distribution for investment managers. Sharí is an active member of the Association of Investment Management Sales Executives (AIMSE) and the Professional Association for Investment Communications Resources (PAICR). She is a graduate of Adelphi University, where she received her B.A. in Psychology.

Lisa Hensel is a Client Service Manager at A.S.A.P. Advisor Services, Inc. She has more than 10 years of experience in the financial services/investment management industry, specifically within marketing, client service and database/RFP management. Most recently, Lisa was Manager of Marketing and Sales Support for Brandywine Global Investment Management where she led the Marketing and Sales Support team for both Institutional and Retail channels. Lisa earned her B.S. degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis on Marketing, from Messiah College and earned her M.B.A. from Goldey Beacom College (with honors).

Nikki Metz is a Project Manager at A.S.A.P Advisor Services, Inc. She has 6 years of experience in the financial services industry. Nikki began her career as a personal assistant to a financial advisor and then spent 4 years at Cambridge Investment Research, Inc, an independent broker-dealer. While at Cambridge, she managed three dynamic advisor service teams. One team offered personalized training and troubleshooting for a proprietary customer data management database. A second team populated customer data in the proprietary database and provided basic support related to the required verification of that data. The third team offered services for advisors utilizing a consolidated performance reporting tool. Nikki obtained her NASD Series 7 license in 2004. She holds an A.A. degree from Indian Hills Community College.

Joe Cavigliano is the Operations Manager at A.S.A.P. Advisor Services, Inc. Joe is responsible for ensuring the accurate reporting of client data. Since joining the firm in 2007, he has made significant upgrades to data templates and analytics programs which have streamlined the data entry and proofreading process. Joe is a graduate of Hunter College where he received his B.A. in Economics and Math.

Anne Steinbugler is the Quality Assurance Manager at A.S.A.P. Advisor Services, Inc. She has over 16 years of experience in the financial services industry with a strong background in data management and data quality assurance. Anne began her career as a financial planner for E.F. Hutton & Co., and then spent 8 years managing rating operations for Moody’s Investors Service. She joined the A.S.A.P. team in 2009, leading the firm’s QA team and supporting the Operations team. Anne is a graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton, where she received a B.S. degree in Business Management.

Jill Turner is the Director of Alternative Investments at A.S.A.P. Advisor Services, Inc. She has over 18 years of experience in the alternative investment industry, including due diligence, portfolio management, and research. Jill began her career at Commodities Corporation, where she held several research and manager selection positions. Prior to joining A.S.A.P., Jill spent 11 years at Goldman Sachs, including 2 years with Goldman Sachs Asset Management International in London. Her positions at Goldman Sachs included 7 years in portfolio management/manager selection and, most recently, 4 years as a member of the Due Diligence team within Goldman Sachs’s Hedge Fund Strategies group, where she developed and led the team’s Focus Group process. Jill holds a NFA Series 3 license. She received a B.A. degree from Carleton College and did extensive graduate-level work at Emory University.

Scott Tyndale is a Client Service Manager at A.S.A.P. Advisor Services, Inc. He has more than 8 years of experience in the investment management industry, specifically within marketing and client service functions. Most recently, Scott was Vice President of Marketing/Client Service Support for Systematic Financial Management, LP. Scott is a member of the Professional Association for Investment Communications Resources (PAICR). He is a graduate of Clemson University, where he received his B.S. in Marketing and minored in Business Management.
